This Sunday, August 11, Father Tom will attend the 25th anniversary celebration of the Indonesian Catholic Community at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in South Philadelphia. Actually the Indonesian Catholic community began at Holy Redeemer. The first Indonesian Catholic Mass was in November, 1998 at Holy Redeemer and for several months the community met here. Father Tom moved it to Saint Thomas because the community was so large that the people could not fit in Holy Redeemer Church.
