Peter’s Pence Collection
Throughout the world Catholics are invited to support Pope Francis by making a donation to the Peter’s Pence Collection this weekend, June 15 and 16. The money collection supports the Pope’s ministry of serving the church and assisting the poor. Please be generous.
Fundraiser for Andy Chan
A fundraiser will be held on June 28th where all proceeds will benefit the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation. See the attached flyer for more details.
A raffle basket will be donated on behalf of HR Church which we are asking for your help. The theme of the basket is ‘Gift Cards’ and we are asking for donations of gift cards of any amount to various shops/restaurants in the area. Gift cards can be dropped off at the back of church in the labeled basket for the next 2 Sundays.

Chinese Christian Church’s Summer Carnival- June 22nd
Please join the Chinatown community for a Summer Carnival on June 22nd, 4:30-7:30pm on their 10th street campus. This is a fun day for our community to celebrate the start of the summer. It’s our kickoff day for the Summer Playground season with our basketball league, sports camps and open court times. See the attached flyer for more details.
June is the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
On Sunday, June 23, we will have a brief prayer to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus after the 11:15 AM Mass. We will gather in front of our Sacred Heart statue in the churchyard. The Sacred Heart is a symbol of the love and mercy of Jesus. Let’s entrust ourselves, our families and our church and school to Jesus. Below is the prayer to the Sacred Heart and we encourage all to take a moment to pray:
Blue Bell Country Club
Our annual swim outing will be at the Blue Bell Country Club on Monday, July 8. All are invited. Food is free. If you use the bus, the cost is $8. There will be flyers and registration forms in the back of the church.
Our 2024 High School graduates
On Sunday, July 14, after the 11:15 Mass, we will have a social to honor our Holy Redeemer high school graduates. We will congratulate them for your achievement and wish them well as they head off to college. Please inform Father Tom of any 2024 high school graduates. We want to be sure that we include all of our graduates.
Summer Picnic
Holy Redeemer’s summer picnic will be on June 22 at Saint Charles Seminary. There are flyers in the back of the church. Also there are sign up sheets for those who will bring food to share with everyone.
