Spring planting and clean up day – May 11, 2024
Please come to Holy Redeemer on Saturday May 11, beginning at 9:30 to get our church yard ready for Spring and summer. We will plant flowers, pull weeks and clean our property. Pizza lunch provided
Summer Picnic
Mark your calendar. Holy Redeemer’s summer picnic will be on June 22 at Saint Charles Seminary.
Padre Pio Pilgrimage
On Saturday, May 4, Father Tom will lead a pilgrimage to the Padre Pio Center in Barto, PA. Father Tom will be the celebrant for the Mass at Barto. There is a sign up sheet in the upper and lower churches for those wishing to attend and who need transportation or who can offer a ride to others.
This pilgrimage will include the people of Saint John Church.
For those who cannot drive and if we cannot arrange car rides, we will rent a van and the cost per person will be $20 for the ride. Here’s the schedule for van riders:
8:00 AM Leave Holy Redeemer
9:30 Arrive at Padre Pio Centre
10:30 Mass
12:00 Lunch (bring your own lunch)
1:30 Depart
3 PM Arrive at Holy Redeemer

Our next open house for families considering Holy Redeemer for their children’s education is Tuesday, May 7 from 1-2 PM. Please invite families with school age children to visit Holy Redeemer School.

On Friday, May 3rd, there is no school for the 1st grade and early dismissal for the Kindergarten class.
