Saint Francis Blessings of Animals
Saint Francis is known for his love of animals and for his praise of God who created all living beings. On Saturday October 5, at 10 AM, we will have a blessing of pets on the sidewalk in front of Saint John church. Bring your pets to church. We will thank God for the gift of animals and pray that all people will respect the dignity of our fellow earthly creatures.
Second Collection for Catholic Charities
Second Collection for Catholic Charities this Sunday, September 29. There are envelopes in the back of the church for you to bring your donation on other Sundays or, if you prefer, you can mail the donation yourself.

Save the Date- Holy Redeemer Banquet 2024
The banquet this year will take place on October 19th at Ocean Harbor Restaurant starting at 4:30pm. Please show your support for Holy Redeemer School with your attendance and/or donations. Invitations are available at HR if you have not received one yet.
Holy Redeemer School Spotlight
Holy Redeemer School will start its CARES (Children Are Receiving Extended Services) program on Tuesday, October 1, for Grades K-8. CARES runs Monday through Friday from after school to 4:30 PM on full school days. Each student will be given a snack, provided homework help, tutoring if needed, computer time, recreation and relaxation time.
The Children’s weekly Mass will be start on Wednesday, October 2, at 8:30 AM. All are invited to attend.
The first Open House is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. If you have or know somebody who has children and are interested in sending them to Holy Redeemer, come to the Open House.
Friday, October 11 is scheduled for early dismissal (11:40 AM).
A girls volleyball team is participating in the CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) league. Their first game was September 24th and the next game is September 30th. Please come watch the games and support the team.
A boys CYO basketball team will start playing in November.
