CHANPions – Fundraiser for Andy Chan

The 65 mile Ben to the Shore bike ride from the Ben Franklin Bridge to Atlantic City is scheduled for Sunday, July 27.  A group of people from Holy Redeemer Church and School is teaming up to raise money for Andy Chan, a beloved alumni and parishioner who was critically injured on duty as a motorcycle policeman who is paralyzed and needs continuous special medical and physical care.

The bike ride for Andy started 2 years ago by our kindergarten teacher, Ms. Racquel Romana.  She taught both of Andy’s children at Holy Redeemer School.  Last year the riders numbered a dozen, while this year there will be two dozen.
