Mark your calendars for the Annual Mass for Firefighters

On February 16, 1899, Saint John Church burned.  Four firefighters lost their lives fighting that fire.  We remember those four men and all firefighters who lost their lives defending the lives and property of others and we pray for the safety of all firefighters.  Please join us for our annual Mass for Firefighters on Saturday February 17 at 10 AM.

Epiphany Blessing

The Catholic Church has a long tradition of blessing homes on the feast of the Epiphany.  Families gather and pray together for peace and love in their homes and they mark their homes with chalk to honor the Magi who visited Jesus on the first Epiphany.  If you were not able to take home last weekend an envelope with the information for the Epiphany house blessing, there are still a few envelopes available in the back of the church.

Holy Redeemer Open House

Please ask your friends and relatives who have school age to consider Holy Redeemer School.  Our next open house will be Monday, February 19 from 1-2 PM.

Lenten Recollection Day

If you are looking for something to do for Lent, consider attending the Archdiocesan Recollection Day on Saturday, February 24 from 9 AM -3 PM at Saint James the Great Parish, Elkins Park.  This event is sponsored by the office for Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees.
