Potluck Board Game Event
Holy Redeemer Parish Events Committee will host a potluck board game night in the Teresa Hu Center tomorrow Saturday, November 11 from 3-8 PM. Bring your favorite dish to share and a board game to enjoy with others from our church community.
St. John’s Hospice Donation Request- Final Week
This is the final week that HR will be collecting donations for St. John’s Hospice. Thank you to all those who donated.

Proposal for 7634s basketball arena in Chinatown
There are two meetings on this topic:
- The Chinatown Coalition to Oppose the Arena will hold a meeting to update the community on the arena from the perspective of the opposition at the Chinese Christian Church on 10th and Spring Streets at 6 PM on Tuesday, November 14.
- The Sixers are sponsoring a public community meeting at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown, 201 N 17th Street from 7-9 PM on Thursday November 16.
Crime prevention workshop for Seniors
On Friday, November 17 there will be a presentation on how to prevent fraud crimes against seniors. It will be at the Crane from 10 AM until 12 Noon. Lunch will be served at noon. There are signs about this event posted in the back of the church.
Second Collection for Victims of the War in Israel and Palestine
Next Sunday, November 19, we will have a second collection for Catholic Relief Services to assist in humanitarian help for those suffering from the war in Israel and Palestine.
Social after Mass, November 19th
Please join us for the next social that will take place after the English Mass at 12:30pm on November 19th. All are welcome to fellowship with one another while enjoying drinks and refreshments.
Holy Redeemer School Spotlight
The next Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th at 1:00 PM. The school is accepting anyone who is interested in attending Holy Redeemer School. Call the school at 215-922-0999 or online https://www.holyredeemerschool.org/application.
The school children are collecting non-perishable food for their annual Thanksgiving Canned Food Collection Drive to help those in need of food. Please bring your donation and place them in the milk crates in back of the Church.
The Thanksgiving schedule for the school is as follows: 11:30 early dismissal Wednesday November 22, no school Thursday and Friday November 23-24 for the Thanksgiving Day holiday
.Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Spotlight
Suffering in the Holy Land continues.
