Announcements

Social after 11:15am Mass

All are invited to a social after the English Mass this Sunday, October 22nd in the Theresa Hu Center.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Second Collection

This Sunday is Mission Sunday and the second collection will support Catholic missions over all the world. Please be extra generous.

 St. John’s Hospice Donation Request

St. John’s Hospice is welcoming the following donations.  There will be a donation box in the back of church for the next few weeks to collect these items.  Thank you for your generosity.

–       Cereal bars

–       Small snack bags, e.g. chips

–       Bottled water

–       Hoodies- all sizes

–       Boxer briefs- all sizes

–       Jeans and pants- size 30-38 waist, sizes inseam 30-34

–       Towels

–       White fitted sheets- twin size

 Halloween BBQ

Father Tom will be at Holy Redeemer on Halloween night (October 31) from 5:30-7:30 PM frying hot dogs and hamburgers.  The food will be followed by HR ghost stories.

Confirmation

Bishop Edward Deliman will come to Holy Redeemer on Thursday, November 9th to confirm our young people. The Mass is at 4 PM.  If you are able, please join us for Mass to show support for our young people who will receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Redeemer School Open House

The next open house will be Tuesday, November 14, from 1-2 PM. If you know any family with school age children, please encourage them to consider Holy Redeemer School.

Holy Redeemer Fundraising Banquet

The banquet this year will be this week, Saturday, October 21 at Ocean Harbor Restaurant. There are still seats available and/or if you would like to give a donation, you can send it to Holy Redeemer School/Church.

Special Needs Sunday School

Holy Redeemer offers a Sunday School religious education program for children with special needs.  It will begin this Sunday, October 22 at 10 AM.  For information, please see Father Tom or Kurt.

Potluck Board Game Event

Holy Redeemer Parish Events Committee will host a potluck board game night in the Teresa Hu Center on Saturday, November 11 from 3-8 PM.  Bring your favorite dish to share and a board game to enjoy with others from our church community.

Holy Redeemer School Spotlight

Next Friday, October 27th, there is no school due to Staff Development day.

The school will have its Halloween Carnival on October 31st.

No school on November 1st, All Saints Day.
