On behalf of the Capuchin friars on Philadelphia, thank you to all who attended our Mass commemorating the 150th year anniversary of our Province. And special thanks to the volunteers who prepared the liturgy and who cooked and arranged the amazing luncheon. Everyone was astonished to see the abundance of food from around the world. I was pleased with the good example set by our Laudato Si Circle volunteers whose arrangement of the 150th anniversary reception was environmentally friendly. Instead of disposable plastic table coverings, we used washable reusable cloth ones (also more elegant!). We did not use plastic forks and spoons, but biodegradable ones. Thanks!
